Event: "Spieligenstadt" 2018 in Seligenstadt, GERMANY

Seit vergangenen Donnerstag, 22. Februar 2018 finden die diesjährige und somit siebten Seligenstädter Spieletage erneut statt.

Die Veranstalter laden Menschen ab vier Jahren bis ins hohe Alter unter dem Motto "

Brett-, Karten- und Würfelspiele kostenlose ausprobieren" ein.

Spiele

An der Ausgabe gibt es eine Auswahl von rund 500 Spielen – von Klassikern wie „Mensch ärgere Dich nicht“ bis zu Neuerscheinungen. Natürlich sind auch die mit der Auszeichnung „Spiel des Jahres“ prämierten Ausgaben des letzten Jahrzehnts dabei.
Auf den drei Etagen des Gemeindezentrums findet sich bestimmt ein Platz und auch MitspielerInnen. Über die erste Hürde – die Spielanleitung – helfen erfahrene Spiele-ErklärerInnen hinweg. Vielleicht lernen manche dann auch die Schätze kennen, die schon lange noch ungespielt zu Hause liegen.
Ergänzend zu dem Spieleangebot wird es im Verlauf des Wochenendes auch Turniere geben, bei denen von Spiele-Verlagen gestiftete Preise zu gewinnen sind.

Wann und wo?

"S(pi)eligenstadt findet vom 22. - 25. Februar 2018 statt. Veranstaltungsort ist das evangelische Gemeindezentrum in der Jahnstraße 24 in Seligenstadt und als Ausweichfläche das benachbarte katholische Gemeindezentrum St.Marien im Steinweg 25. Dort werden auch einige Turniere sowie der Spieleflohmarkt stattfinden.
Wer zwischendurch Durst und Hunger verspürt, wird in der Cafeteria im Erdgeschoss vom Weltladen Seligenstadt versorgt.

Teilnehmen

Eingeladen sind Kinder, Jugendliche, Erwachsene – gerne auch in Gruppen (Jugendgruppen, Geburtstagsgesellschaften, …). Besonders am Donnerstag und Freitag vormittag sind Gruppen aus Schulen und Kindertagesstätten eingeladen, einen Ausflug zu den Spieletagen zu machen und unsere Spiele auszuprobieren.
Der Eintritt zu den Spieletagen ist frei.
Gruppen können sich ab Herbst bei uns anmelden, ebenso wie Spielerinnen und Spieler, die gerne als Spiele-ErklärerInnen mitarbeiten möchten.

Der Spieleflohmarkt

Am Sonntag, 25. Februar 2018, findet wieder ein Spieleflohmarkt statt. Dieser ist von 12-15 Uhr gegenüber im katholischen Gemeindezentrum im Steinweg 25. Der Erlös geht an ein regionales, soziales Projekt.

Die Veranstalter

"S(pi)eligenstadt" ist ein Kooperationsprojekt des Kinder- und Jugendbüro der Stadt Seligenstadt, des Bundes der deutschen katholischen Jugend im Dekanat Seligenstadt, der Katholische Jugendzentrale Offenbach-Land, des Kinderclubs im evangelischen Gemeindezentrum und der Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Seligenstadt und Mainhausen. Außerdem arbeitet Monika Weber vom SeligenStadtMarketing GmbH in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit mit.
Die Initiative zu „S(pi)eligenstadt – die Spieletage in Seligenstadt“ kommt von Steffen Wallraff, einem leidenschaftlichen Spielesammler und –erklärer. Er kennt das Veranstaltungskonzept aus vielen anderen deutschen Städten, in denen Spieletage viele Spielbegeisterte in große Hallen locken.
